A free Joomla 5 plugin that adds the Yandex Share block to articles, so visitors can send a link to the article to social networks and messengers. Custom output layouts are supported.
WT Ya.share2 adds the Yandex Share block to Joomla articles (com_content). With a couple of clicks, a visitor can post a link to a page they like on their social network or send it via a messenger. On a category blog page, the plugin shares the link to the article the visitor picked rather than the link to the blog page itself.

FAQ
The drop-down list with social network icons is not visible in the Cassiopeia template. What can I do?
The block is present in the page source but is clipped by the parent article container on the category blog page (div.com-content-category-blog__item.blog-item), which has overflow: hidden. Override this property in the template's user.css file.
Is there a version for Joomla 3 and Joomla 4?
The current version has been rewritten for the Joomla 5 architecture. For Joomla 3 and Joomla 4, use the previous version of the plugin.
Is the Yandex Share block still supported by Yandex?
In 2025 Yandex stopped developing and supporting its Share script. The plugin still works for now, but whether the block keeps working depends on Yandex.
