A free Joomla 4 and 5 content plugin: a shortcode inserts article data and the article's custom fields anywhere content plugins run, rendered through a custom output layout.
WT Articles anywhere with fields helps link site pages together using Joomla's own tools. Say the shop runs on an e-commerce component, while a portfolio of completed projects is built from standard Joomla articles with custom fields and layout overrides. The plugin can show data from such an article, together with its fields, in a product description, another article or a module: anywhere content plugins are processed.

Shortcode

article_idis the article ID in the Articles manager. Required.tmplis the name of the output layout file inplugins/content/wtarticlewithfields/tmpl/. Optional.
How it works
The plugin expects the site developer to create their own output layouts for each task, defining which article data and fields to show and in what markup. The finished layout is placed in the plugin folder and named in the shortcode with the tmpl parameter.
The package includes an editor button (editors-xtd) for inserting articles with the shortcode: its window lets you pick the article and the output layout.
