Open Graph for ZOO

Open Graph for ZOO brings the Open Graph protocol to items of the ZOO component. When a link to such an item is shared on a social network, the post shows a preview card with an image, a title and a description instead of a bare link. The extension outputs tags for Facebook and Twitter.

• If no values are set for an item, they are generated from its content automatically.

Installation and setup

1. Install the package, which contains a Joomla plugin and a ZOO element.
2. Configure and enable the Open Graph system plugin; while it is disabled, the element does not appear in ZOO.
3. Add the element to the required ZOO type and configure it like any other ZOO element.
4. When editing an item, optionally enter the image, title and description for social networks; empty fields are filled from the content.

• Joomla 4 and Joomla 5.
• Requires the ZOO component, version 4 or later.
