Sberbank for Phoca Cart

The plugin connects a Phoca Cart shop to Sberbank internet acquiring. Customers pay for orders by bank card, and the funds are credited to the seller's bank account. Through the Sberbank gateway the plugin also sends receipt data as required by Russian federal law 54-FZ.

Installation and setup

1. Apply for Sberbank internet acquiring. After the contract is signed, the bank provides an API login and password and access to the merchant account for test mode.
2. Install the plugin like any Joomla extension through the Extension Manager.
3. Go to Components → Phoca Cart → Payments and create a new payment method, named "Оплата через Сбербанк" (Payment via Sberbank) in the documentation.
4. Enter the test login and password, configure the other options and make test payments. Test cards are listed in the Sberbank documentation.
5. Submit the site for review by bank specialists through the merchant account. After approval the bank issues a temporary login and password for live mode.
6. Replace the temporary credentials with permanent ones, enter them in the payment method settings and switch the mode from demo to live.

FAQ

Does the plugin work with Phoca Cart 4 and Joomla 4?

No. According to the documentation, the plugin is built for Joomla 3.10 and Phoca Cart 3 and does not work with Phoca Cart 4/5 or Joomla 4/5. Since 2024 the developer no longer supports the plugin, as Sberbank now offers YooKassa for internet acquiring.

Can order total rounding be enabled?

The payment method does not support rounding the order total to 0 or 1 decimal places, so this option must be turned off in Phoca Cart.
