JMB Tree

JMB Tree helps organise navigation on sites with a large structure. Instead of creating many separate menus, one menu can hold all items, and each instance of the module shows only the items ticked in its settings. The module has two modes: a drop-down menu and a select box.

Features

• Manual item selection. Build a menu inside the module by ticking the menu items to display.
• Two display modes. The drop-down menu can be horizontal or vertical; the direction in which a vertical menu opens (left or right) is set with the module class suffix.
• Category mode. The module can work with com_content categories instead of menu items — for example, to show a select box for choosing a news section or topic category.
• Menu item parameters on the frontend. Item images, CSS class and alternative title are respected.
• Exclude an item by ID. An intermediate item can be removed from the hierarchy while its child items remain.
• Exclude categories by ID in category mode.
• Optional nofollow attribute for links.
• Separator character that shows the nesting of items.
• Responsive layout.
• ARIA support, making the menu accessible to screen reader users.

Compatibility and requirements

• Joomla 3.
• Category mode works with standard Joomla article categories (com_content).
