Gantry 5 is a theme framework created by RocketTheme and maintained by Tiger12 since July 2025. The same framework runs on Joomla, WordPress and Grav. All downloads are free and the code is open source (MIT and GPL).

Installation
- Download the framework package and a theme from the gantry.org downloads page.
- Install the framework package first, then the theme, via Extensions → Install.
- Set the theme as the default template; configure it under Components → Gantry 5 Templates.
Free starter themes: Hydrogen (basic) and Helium (advanced).
FAQ
Is Joomla 4 supported? No, since 5.6.0 the minimum is Joomla 5. Joomla 4 sites stay on the 5.5.x line.
How are updates delivered? Through the standard Joomla updater.
Who maintains Gantry now? Tiger12, which took over from RocketTheme in July 2025; Gantry 6 is in development.
