# File manager
A file manager handles the images and documents a Joomla site uses: uploading them, preparing them and inserting them into content.
The tag currently contains one extension, Quantum Manager. It is a free file manager that uploads files and inserts them into the editor and fields. It can resize and crop images, add watermarks and convert formats, and permissions can be set per user group.
