Builds an XML sitemap for search engines and an HTML sitemap for visitors. Its own crawler walks the site, reports broken links and picks up pages from any component.
Aimy Sitemap by Aimy Extensions builds the sitemap by crawling pages, much like a search engine bot, instead of reading data from individual components. As a result, pages from VirtueMart, HikaShop, CCKs and other extensions end up in the map without extra plugins, along with linked documents such as PDFs. The developer recommends it for small and medium sites with up to a few hundred pages, because crawling a large site takes noticeable time.
