Generico is a general-purpose base template for Joomla 5 and 6 sites. It is built on its own code with Bootstrap 5.3.3 and jQuery, by Jorge Demetrio (Sobieski Produções). The README lists technical SEO and WCAG AA accessibility as goals.

Installation
Install the zip from the author's update server (used as the download link). GitHub releases have no zip asset, and the repository archive cannot be installed directly because the template sits in a subfolder.

Compatibility and requirements

- PHP 8.1 or newer.
- The template loads jQuery, which core Joomla 5 and 6 do not need.
