A Tassos Marinos extension that adds Schema.org markup in JSON-LD for articles, products, events, FAQs, recipes, jobs and more, enabling Google rich results without writing code.
Google Structured Data is an extension by the Greek developer Tassos Marinos that marks up pages with Schema.org data in JSON-LD format. The markup helps search engines build rich results showing ratings, prices, stock status, cooking times or event dates. Everything is set up through forms in the backend, so there is no need to learn Schema.org syntax or write code. It suits blogs, online shops, directories and company sites.
Features
- Content types: article, course, event, FAQ, product, recipe, fact check (ClaimReview), local business, video, movie, review, job posting and service.
- Site-wide markup: site name, logo, breadcrumbs, a sitelinks search box and social profile links.
- Integrations with Joomla articles, K2, VirtueMart, HikaShop, J2Store, JoomShopping, Eshop, Zoo, SP Page Builder, Quix, EasyBlog, RSBlog, SobiPro, Event Booking, JCal Pro and DJ-Extensions products.
- Markup can be assigned to any menu item.
- Page design stays untouched; Bing and Yahoo read the markup too.
- Updates arrive through the Joomla update manager.
