A simple module that shows Joomla articles as a drop-down list: a visitor picks a title and the article opens. The list can be limited to selected categories.
Dropdown Articles is a small module by the Italian developer Andrea Forghieri. It lists articles in a drop-down: once an item is selected, the matching article loads. This kind of navigation saves space on the page and works well for archives, document lists and help sections where there are many articles and a dedicated menu would be overkill.

Compatibility
JED lists Joomla 3, 4 and 5; the catalogue tracks Joomla 4 and 5. Joomla 6 support is not declared. The current version is 4.1.1, last updated in JED on 9 October 2023. The module has been around since early Joomla releases and deliberately stays minimal.
