Advanced Custom Fields by Tassos Marinos adds around twenty new types to the native Joomla custom fields. The fields work in articles, user profiles and third-party extensions built on the core fields system. It suits catalogues, company sites and media projects that need a video, a map, a file or a payment button inside an article without touching the template.

- File Upload: drag-and-drop uploads in the backend with limits on the number, size and type of files; the frontend shows a download link.
- Video: YouTube with player options (size, autoplay, controls), Vimeo, DailyMotion, Facebook Video and HTML5 Video (MP4, Ogg, WebM).
- Audio: HTML5 Audio (MP3, Wav, Ogg) and a SoundCloud player.
- Google Maps, OpenStreetMap and Bing Maps.
- PayPal: donations, product sales or subscriptions straight from a field.
- Utility fields: True/False, TimePicker, Progress Bar, IFrame, URL, Download, Currency and Country (which can prefill the visitor's country).
- Module renders any Joomla module inside an article; Custom PHP outputs the result of PHP code.
