As of right now the random/shuffle feature does not work with your module. Either when checked in the player or in the joomla backend. This is also true of your demo. Can you please fix this and release an update this week?

there is a way to set one of the filters as default. So that not all of them are shown first, but the articles of default are shown directly. Maybe by setting it in advance in the userState?
