Ну во первых в примере другой шаблон используется. На вашем сайте используется blue_eagle следовательно править надо его файлы.
Во вторым по моему у blue_eagle немного другая структура была... к сожалению нет сайта с кунена 4 под рукой, что посмотреть, но править вам надо именно этот шаблон.

А как вам должен сказать какой именно файл править?? Я не знаю не видя компонента, вероятно
/components/com_kunena/template/blue_eagle/layouts/topic/item/default.php, но я не уверен. По этому вам надо искать самому нужный файл шаблона, так как шаблоны сильно различаются.

Вывожу отдельным модулем код кнопок в форуме. Перестают грузится страницы - ошибка 500
Вот код, пробовал и 0 и 1. Может код нужен другой?
