Hello,

testing in a multilanguage site...

first time, the module works ok in the subcategories, but doesnt in the parent category (it appears, but i doesnt work the filter)

after a while, the module began to fail: the last checkbox selected, gets memorized and It doesnt matter if I click the clear button, or if i select another checkbox, after click the apply button, come back to the preselected checkboxes. Even if i uninstall / reinstall the extension... the preselection persists.

and the filter doesnt works...

I have advanced in this subject:

1- the problem with the selected checkboxes memorized can be solved configuring the module in advanced tab:
cache: disable

2- the problem that the filters seems to not work, can be solved disabling the conservative cache of joomla server global configuration, setting joomla cache to "off"

the first one is it possible to apply..
But Is it normal that the filter only works if joomla cache is disabled?
Is there any way it can works with the conservative cache activated?

thanks

Hello.
If you mean that filtering does not work with the Joomla "system - cache" plugin, then this is normal. The system cache turns your site into a static site. Any filter module implies a dynamic site.

If we are talking about this cache setting.
s.mail.ru/DoRV/ARe7SZszT
Then you read the description of what this cache does. To be brief, it makes modules static. Or you need to exclude the module from caching. Or use basic Joomla caching.

Hi,
thanks for answering

I'm not talking about the System - Page Cache plugin:
- plugin "System - Page Cache" disabled.

I am not talking about progressive Cache. I am talking about Cache Conservational:
- Joomla Configuration> Server> Cache Conservational

And I have already deactivated the cache for the module:
Module: JL Content Fields Filter [mod_jlcontentfieldsfilter]> Tab Advandced> Caching = No Caching

The result is that the filter does not work.

You have here a link to the page (i prefer not to public it here) and snapshots of all the configuration:

Provide a link to the page of the site where there is a problem with caching.

Hello
Looked at your site. The problem is this, caching does not allow updating the category itself, it is taken from the cache. That is, the module works fine and caching is not a problem for it.
The problem is caching the category of Joomla articles.

Thanks but,

Do you mean that JL Filter is not compatible with Joomla Cache Conservational?

Im not an expert, but I have GET method enabled, so the URLs are different,

so Caching Conservational should works ok, isnt it?

For example:
www.example.com?jlcontentfieldsfilter%5B5%5D%5B%5D=curso&jlcontentfieldsfilter%5Bordering%5D=&jlcontentfieldsfilter%5Bis_filter%5D=1
is different from
www.example.com?jlcontentfieldsfilter%5B5%5D%5B%5D=master&jlcontentfieldsfilter%5Bordering%5D=&jlcontentfieldsfilter%5Bis_filter%5D=1

so, caching should save them separately.

For example, with the Joomla pagination system, Joomla adds the variable ?start=XX and the cache system works fine and saves them as different pages:
For example:
www.example.com?start=6
is different than
www.example.com?start=12
