При нажатии появляется окно от Вктонтакте, потом нажимаю разрешить доступ и на этом все, висит белое окно и ничего не происходит, хост-провайдер говорит, что все нормально и ничего он не блокирует. В чем еще может быть проблема?

there is a way to set one of the filters as default. So that not all of them are shown first, but the articles of default are shown directly. Maybe by setting it in advance in the userState?
